Brands

Brands are generally used to advertise an aspect of what the seller is trying to sell. For example, FEDEX is a shipping company and in their logo, between the E and the X there is an arrow which somewhat resembles shipping. The idea of a brand is important however considering the Coca Cola brand alone is worth over $6 billion. It shows the potential power a brand can have. Making a brand recognizable is key, too. If you were to ask just about anybody about golden arches, their first instinct will almost always be McDonalds. And if it isn't, then good for them because they probably eat a lot healthier than I do. But the fact that these logos are universally known shows how important they are in a business aspect.
